Talpa Media consists of Talpa Content, the group’s in-house creative development unit for television formats and connected concepts, and Talpa Productions, the group’s production unit that produces the (connected) shows for The Netherlands. After Dotcontrol redesigned their website, they were asked to broaden it with a separate working by website. They wanted a clear design for there vacancies and be able to link easily through other pages as about Talpa, Talpa Academy, the vacancies itself, internships and open vacancies. During my internship period at DotControl, I got the change of cooperating within the design team to help to design the website.
First I did user research to find out what the needs and wants of the target group were. Hereby I created persona's and customer journeys to find out what the pain points and opportunities are. They find it important to see the vacancies and finding them easy, clear information what the vacancy means, how the work atmosphere is, how to develop in the work field and knowing how to ask questions and apply. Out of this, user stories were made, as the starting point to make designs.
This is translated to a clear design, where you can easily find information, filter and navigate to other information. With colourfull photography to get a clear view of the atmosphere and always see how to apply to a vacancy on the vacancy page. After first wireframing different ideas and then developing the design, we created a perfect design for the target group.
